The Friends, motivated by city and Library growth, offer the Adopt-a-Book Program to help the Library increase and strengthen its collection. It’s an opportunity for everyone to be involved and give to the Library its most essential resource - BOOKS! Pick up the brochure (pictured on left) at the BookShop for more details.

When you donate to Adopt-a-Book your gift really goes TWICE as far because The Friends will MATCH any gift of $10 or more. For example, when you donate $25 your gift becomes $50!
Use Adopt-a-Book donations to support your Library - and your gift is automatically doubled!
• Adopt-a-Book can be given “In Honor of” or “In Memory of” or to acknowledge a special occasion or as a personal gift to the Library.
• You can designate an area of the Library for your book(s) and a subject preference. A bookplate will be placed on the inside cover of the book with your chosen inscription.
• Adopt-a-Book is for everyone - just like the Library. Individuals, families, businesses, social or civic organizations, parents, grandparents, scout troops, church groups- anyone would appreciate a book donated in their name.
• Celebrate or commemorate special dates or occasions with Adopt-a-Book!
• And, your donation is tax-deductable.
